1. When are HOA Board Meetings? Board Meetings are held the 2nd Monday of each month, at the Clubhouse.
All neighbors are invited, and encouraged, to attend.
2. Can I reserve the Clubhouse online? Yes!
The Clubhouse calendar can be viewed under the “Clubhouse” section of this website. The reservation contract
and Clubhouse rules are also available there.
3. Can the pool be reserved for private parties? No. Although
neighbors may reserve the Clubhouse for a private event, the pool remains open at all times during the pool season.
Please see a comprehensive list of pool rules under the “Forms and Documents” section of this website.
4.
I want to install a fence around my property. What is the procedure? All fences, playsets, storage sheds, additions,
major landscaping changes and other improvements must be approved through the Architectural Review Board process.
The forms are also available under the “Owner Resources” section of this website.
5. Is curbside recycling
available? Times Disposal offers recycling to its customers. Also, a local girl scout troop provides bi-monthly
pickup service for a nominal fee. Contact Heidi Brown for more information. There are also recycling centers in
Charlottesville and Waynesboro.
6. Is there a list of recommended contractors and service professionals available?
Neighbors can post recommendations for contractors, landscapers, physicians, and other service professionals under the Resources
section of this website. Please note that these recommendations do not indicate formal approval by the Western
Ridge Board of Directors, but represent the collective opinions of individual residents. Check the list, or submit your
own input, under the "Owner Resources" section.
7. How do I find out about neighborhood social events?
The neighborhood website will maintain up-to-date information on neighborhood events. However, there are various social
groups that meet separately. A good place to start is the Ladies of Western Ridge (LOWR) group. Contact Victoria
Olson, group coordinator, to find out more.
8. Are there social opportunities for couples or individuals without children?
Absolutely! The Ladies of Western Ridge (LOWR) group caters its events to women of all ages. Men of the neighborhood
get together on Friday nights for Poker at the Clubhouse; contact Tom Sherman for more information. The Social Committee
sponsors several Adult-Only Socials as well.
9. Are there any other resources that might be of interest
to a new resident of Western Ridge? Yes! Western Ridge maintains this website as a comprehensive source of information
for new, current, and potential neighbors. We maintain links to a Facebook page for the neighborhood, the Crozet Blog
page, as well as a Google “Bulletin Board” type of listserv. You can find these resources under the “About”
section of this website.
10. I have a question that wasn’t answered here; how can I contact a member of the Board?
See the "Contact Us" section of this website.
